TCCC Regular Club Meeting Wednesday November 12th November 2, 2014

The next regular club meeting of the Treasure Coast Coin Club will be Wednesday November 12th at 7:00pm at Indian River State College Main campus Building Y Room 102.  The  educational program for the month of November will be on insuring your collection.   Patrick Hopkins will be speaking with members about their options pertaining to insuring their coin collections.  We all have to be safe when it comes to protecting our investments.  Come to the November meeting and learn about how to insure your coins.  This should be an informative presentation.  Also, we love we members bring show and tell items to the meetings.  Got something new or interesting you’d like to talk about?  Bring it to the meeting.

The next regular club meeting of the Treasure Coast Coin Club will be Wednesday September 10th at 7:00pm at Indian River State College Main campus Building Y Room 102. The educational program for the month of September is titled Show and Tell Night! We are asking members to bring in one or two of their prized numismatic treasures to share with the other members. The items you bring do not necessarily have to be of great rarity or great value. Sometimes the best part of our treasures is the story behind them. Come to the September meeting and see what your fellow members are collecting. This should be a fun and interesting presentation.

The next regular club meeting of the Treasure Coast Coin Club will be Wednesday August 13th at 7:00pm at Indian River State College Main campus Building Y Room 102.  The educational program for the month of August is titled Numismatic Trivia Night!  Members put on your thinking caps and get ready to be challenged on your numismatic knowledge.  Dennis has been researching his questions and he’ll try to stump you with his crafty questions.  Trivia nights are always a big hit with club members and are full of fun facts.  Come to the July meeting and put your knowledge to the test!  This should be an fun and interesting presentation.As always, we love to hear about those Show-n-Tell items members pick up each month.  Bring them to the meeting and tell us about them.

The next regular club meeting of the Treasure Coast Coin Club will be Wednesday July 9th at 7:00pm at Indian River State College Main campus Building Y Room 102.  The educational program this month will be How Good are Your Grading Skills?.   Members will be presented with a variety of coins in various grades.  Members will record their grades and then self-check their answers to see how they fare.  There is sure to be some animated discussions afterward. This should be an interesting topic.  As always, we love to hear about those Show-n-Tell items members pick up each month.  Bring them to the meeting and tell us about them.

The Treasure Coast Coin Club, Inc. will be holding their monthly board of directors meeting at 6:00pm at VFW in Ft. Pierce on Wednesday June 25.  All club members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the club’s operating procedures.  The Ft. Pierce VFW is located at 3035 N. U.S. Highway 1 in Ft. The next regular club meeting of the Treasure Coast Coin Club will be Wednesday June 11th at 7:00pm at Indian River State College Main campus Building Y Room 102.  The educational program this month will be How Not to Lose Your Money Collecting Coins.   This short DVD from the ANA will discuss some of the myths and misconceptions of collecting coins from a monetary view point. Are those deals we see advertised on TV too good to be true? Come hear what the professionals have to say. This should be an interesting topic.  As always, we love to hear about those Show-n-Tell items members pick up each month.  Bring them to the meeting and tell us about them.
